With measures such as social distancing and self isolation being put in place there are many more patients demanding fit notes/ Med3s. The current Government guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus (covid-19) reiterates that medical evidence is not required for the first 7 days of sickness. It adds that after 7 days, employers may use their discretion around the need for medical evidence if an employee is staying at home.
We have upload a letter to our website and ask patients requiring a medical certificate for work relating to covid-19 to download a copy and give it to their employer.

For Patient safety and the safety of the Staff we are now implementing a Telephone Triage Service to limit the possibility of coming into contact with
the coronavirus in a large gathering.
All appointments will be booked in with the doctor as a telephone consultation. We ask that patients requesting an appointment not to queue outside the practice and instead to call the surgery on 0208 888 1736. Due to the reduction of online booking capacity there are a higher volume of calls coming through and we ask for your patience and understanding for the

To mitigate any risk that potentially infected patients booking appointments online and attending the practice when they should be receiving advice to self-isolate or go through testing, all practices are now being advised to change appointments booked online to appointments booked via telephone.
