You can request a repeat prescription for your regularly prescribed medication by the following methods:
- Via our online services (You must be registered to use this service . Find out more…)
- Using the printed repeat request slip
- Via a designated chemist
Repeat Prescriptions are not accepted over the telephone.
Please allow 48 hours for the prescription to be processed. Prescriptions can be collected from the surgery during working hours or from a designated chemist by arrangement. We can post your prescription to you, if you provide a stamped address envelope, but please allow one week for this.
We review all patients using repeat medication on a regular basis and you may be asked to contact the Surgery to speak to a Doctor or a Pharmacist. Failure to book a review may result in your prescription being delayed as we need to be clinically satisfied your condition is stable.
Requests made for items not on the ‘Repeat screen’ or ‘Repeat medication list’ may not be honoured.
For medication queries please book a routine or Telephone consultation with a GP.
Patient Access connects you to local health services when you need them most. Book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions and discover local health services for you or your family via your mobile or home computer.
Choosing a designated chemist or pharmacy is a service which can be initiated at your request. We will require written consent from you to use this method of repeat prescribing. You can nominate one pharmacy.
The ordering of prescriptions remains your responsibility and collection of the prescription is the responsibility of the pharmacy.
Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
We offer a new service whereby we send prescriptions electronically to your nominated Pharmacy of choice. Please contact the surgery for further information.
