Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
All results are assessed by a clinician.
Once a clinician has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- visit us after 10am and we will tell you what the results are
Test Results Guidelines
– Smear results can take up to two months.
– Blood and urine results can take 7 – 10 working days.
– X-ray results can take 2 weeks or more.
If your test results have not arrived within the allotted time, please inform us and we will chase up your results.

If you are unable to view your test results via NHS app or do not receive notification regarding a Smear Test within the allotted time, please inform us by completing an online request form under ‘I have an admin query’ or via reception, and they will be happy to help you.
- The Reception team are not medically trained and cannot offer any advice.
