Bereavement Peer Support Group
The Bereavement Peer Support Group aims to provide light touch social and wellbeing support for older adults in Haringey who are living with bereavement. Get support | Haringey Reach and Connect
Delivered by six community connectors, the service is light touch and non-specialist, with a focus on signposting and short-term support to help over 50s in Haringey to build confidence, improve their wellbeing and to achieve their goals.
The weekly drop-in sessions will involve:
- Conversation
- Reflection
- Refreshments
- Activities towards promoting wellbeing
- Informal information and advice
- Opportunity to meet new people
Please note: The service does not provide specific bereavement support. However, it can support bereaved residents to get connected to other services and support to help them cope with bereavement.
